This is a hurried post, as I finally have access to the Internet. The only problem with emulating Clark and Ellen Griswold is that they had to hold John Candy hostage to be able to ride the Wallyworld rides. Rather than giving our kids to Social Services, we went to Mt. Olympus theme park in Wisconsin Dells yesterday. This is the same Mt. Olympus that mixes ancient civilizations by placing a giant replica of the Coliseum in front of it. Actually, for upper Midwestern schoolchildren, this is a great way to learn about two ancient civilizations in one great tasting bite!
The kids loved the water parks and the roller coasters. Quin went on his first roller coaster as he was able to just get over the height limit by gelling his hair up.
After the park, we packed up and let the kids sleep while we drove to middle Minnesota. We will get to Blue Mounds State Park on the MN and SD border tonight.
One more note, I don’t have the connection between our camera and our computer, so all pictures are from the cell phone!
